Margadarshi Society is a secular, non-profit organization established in 2002 and headquartered in Kalaburagi. Its mission is to build a child-friendly and sustainable society where children are protected from all forms of abuse and exploitation. The organization works with women and children using a rights-based approach across the Hyderabad-Karnataka region, where high rates of child marriage, child trafficking, child labor, and other child-related issues persist. These challenges often stem from limited access to education, low awareness, and insufficient understanding of fundamental rights. To address these concerns, Margadarshi Society is actively working to eliminate such issues in Kalaburagi District and is gradually expanding its efforts to other areas of the Hyderabad-Karnataka region, including Bidar, Yadgiri, Bijapur, Raichur, and Koppal.

Educational Program at Aranakal
Our team visited the Aranakal Gram Panchayat regarding an educational program on 25th August 2020. People of the village made their own self help groups and helped us in this program. The children of the village were given basic education. Later our team helped out an Anganwadi where the pregnant ladies as well as the children were distributed a nutritious food. And with regard to this there was a discussion among the nutritional diet that is to be given to the kids. And later on the team met the children of the village and made a survey regarding their problems and gave them the exciting news of them to be a part of the school and every child there were given a chance to encase their talents and creativity.

With our continuous stewardship and encouragement in Donnur & Arejambaga villages, school children & guest teachers volunteers 2 hours a day free of charge to educate students who are distracted & schools shut due to Covid-19 spread .Our community organizer Saraswati has joined hands with them.
